As the year turns, a new chapter begins. 2016 was a year in which Beijing Yifeng Technology established a firm foothold in the market and built up its expertise. Following the initial explorations of 2015 and the successful deployment of its first unit, Yifeng Technology has become even more resolute in its development strategy of ‘winning trust through products and building a reputation through service’. The company has continued to advance steadily and diligently along the path of product optimisation and market expansion.

Throughout the year, Yifeng’s R&D team continued to refine product details, carrying out comprehensive optimisations and upgrades to address minor issues encountered during the practical application of the first unit: the ratio of adsorption media was optimised to enhance purification efficiency and stability; the control system’s user interface was improved to make operation simpler and more intuitive, aligning with the usage habits of university staff, students and researchers; and safety protection designs were enhanced, with the addition of features such as pressure overload protection and leak alarms to further improve operational safety. Following these continuous optimisations, the performance of the FLEANO series solvent purification systems has become increasingly stable. The systems are compatible with over ten commonly used organic solvents, including toluene, tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile and DMF, meeting the core requirements of fundamental experiments such as organic synthesis and materials preparation.

In terms of market expansion, Yifeng Technology adheres to the principle of ‘staying grounded and proceeding step by step’. The company has established a professional sales and technical service team, starting from the local Beijing market and gradually expanding to surrounding provinces and cities. The team visits university laboratories and research institutes to engage in face-to-face discussions with researchers, gaining an understanding of their practical needs and providing customised solutions. They have organised numerous product demonstrations and technical exchange sessions, showcasing the equipment’s performance on-site and explaining the advantages of purification technology, thereby enabling more users to appreciate the capabilities of domestically produced solvent purification equipment.

Hard work pays off. In 2016, sales of Yifeng Technology’s FLEANO series products rose steadily, successfully entering the laboratories of numerous universities, including Beijing Normal University and Beijing University of Chemical Technology, as well as several small and medium-sized research institutions. Every installation and commissioning, every on-site technical guidance session, and every prompt after-sales response has gradually built Yifeng Technology’s reputation, and the philosophy that “for domestic purification equipment, Yifeng is more reliable” has begun to spread quietly within the research community.

In this year, Yifeng Technology not only achieved an initial breakthrough in market share but also remained true to its founding principles and fulfilled its corporate responsibilities. In response to the limited research funding available to universities, the company launched highly cost-effective basic models to help institutions reduce research costs; it also provided laboratories with free technical consultation and equipment maintenance services, winning user trust through attentive service.
