Building on a Strong Foundation, Embarking on a New Journey: Beijing Yifeng Technology Increases R&D Investment to Strengthen the Foundations of Technological Innovation

Time flies, yet our original aspirations remain unchanged. In 2017, Beijing Yifeng Technology entered a pivotal year of building technical capabilities and preparing for a breakthrough. After two years of market experience and product refinement, the company has come to deeply recognise that technological innovation is the core competitiveness of enterprise development; only by continuously deepening our technical expertise and overcoming bottlenecks can we gain a firm foothold in the fiercely competitive market and truly achieve the goal of domestic substitution.

This year, Yifeng Technology significantly increased its investment in research and development, allocating over 10% of its revenue to core technology R&D. The company expanded its R&D team, recruited more industry talent, and established a professional R&D team integrating materials research, process design and automation control. Concurrently, the company established an industry-academia-research partnership with the School of Chemistry at a university in Beijing, jointly establishing a research and development laboratory. Leveraging the university’s research resources and technical strengths, the two parties collaborated on tackling core technologies for solvent purification, focusing on overcoming three key challenges: enhancing the performance of adsorbent materials, optimising sealing processes, and upgrading intelligent control systems.

In the field of adsorbent material R&D, the team conducted hundreds of experiments to identify more efficient and durable adsorbent media. By optimising media ratios and packing processes, they increased solvent purification efficiency by 20% and extended the service life of the adsorbent media by 30%, significantly reducing operational costs for users; Regarding sealing processes, the innovative adoption of a dual-seal structure has completely resolved the issue of solvent leakage common in traditional equipment, enhancing both safety and sealing performance to meet laboratory safety standards; in terms of intelligent control, the optimisation of control system algorithms enables real-time monitoring and automatic adjustment of moisture and oxygen content, resulting in more stable and intelligent equipment operation.

In terms of product optimisation, building upon the existing standard model, we have launched a multi-channel customised version capable of processing 2–5 solvents simultaneously. This meets the demand for conducting multiple research projects and experiments concurrently, making it suitable for research institutes and large university laboratories. Concurrently, we have enhanced our after-sales support system by establishing a dedicated technical support team and defining clear response procedures to ensure that any issues encountered by users during operation are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Although Yifeng Technology did not launch a brand-new product series this year, through continuous technological development and product optimisation, product performance has been significantly enhanced, and market recognition has further increased. By the end of 2017, Yifeng Technology’s products had reached multiple provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong, serving over 100 customers, with university laboratories accounting for 70% of these. The company has thus become a key supplier of domestically produced solvent purification equipment in northern China.

Only by accumulating strength over time can one proceed steadily and far; only by devoting oneself to building capacity can one secure victory in the future. In 2017, Yifeng cultivated technology with craftsmanship and pursued excellence with tenacity, working quietly on the path of technological innovation. This has laid a solid technical foundation for subsequent product iterations and market expansion, as the company awaits the moment to take flight.
