With a clear vision and a fresh start, advancing scientific research—Beijing Yifeng Technology Co., Ltd. has officially been established, embarking on a new journey in domestic solvent purification.

In the Year of the Goat, as autumn brought crisp, clear skies and the capital region basked in the season’s splendour, all things were brimming with the vitality of new life. On 9 November 2015, Beijing Yifeng Technology Co., Ltd. was officially incorporated. With a sincere and unwavering commitment, the company set its sights on the niche market of laboratory organic solvent purification and resolutely embarked on the long journey of domestic substitution and technological innovation. At that time, the domestic market for high-end solvent purification had long been monopolised by overseas brands. The purification equipment used by universities, research institutes and corporate R&D centres was largely reliant on imports. This not only resulted in high procurement costs and slow after-sales response times, but also presented numerous challenges such as poor equipment compatibility and complex operation, severely hampering the pace of domestic scientific research and innovation.

The birth of Yifeng Technology was like a glimmer of light piercing through the gloom of industry monopoly. The company brought together elite talent from fields such as materials science, chemical engineering and automation control. With a mission to ‘break down overseas barriers and create high-quality domestic products’, and upholding the product philosophy of ‘safety, efficiency, stability and economy’, it rejected the drawbacks of traditional distillation processes—namely high risk, high energy consumption and unstable purity. Instead, it focused on three core technological directions: adsorption purification, closed-loop circulation and intelligent control, thereby embarking on the path of R&D for domestically produced solvent purification equipment.

At its inception, the company faced modest facilities and limited resources. Yet, the Yifeng team, driven by a commitment to perfection, poured immense effort into every aspect of the process—from the repeated fine-tuning of laboratory prototypes to the final refinement of the first production model. Countless hours were dedicated to selecting each component, optimising every process, and calibrating every parameter. To ensure solvent purity, all components in contact with solvents are made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel; to balance ease of operation with safety, a one-handed operation mode for the five-way valve was innovatively designed; and to achieve optimal purification results, a dual-column series purification process was developed, ensuring that moisture and oxygen content in the solvent are consistently reduced to below 10 ppm.

In late 2015, Yifeng Technology successfully completed the commissioning of its first FLEANO series solvent purification system, which was installed in the organic synthesis laboratory of a university in Beijing. Field testing confirmed that the equipment offers stable performance and straightforward operation, with purity levels fully comparable to imported products, yet at half the price. This immediately earned the system recognition and acclaim from users, setting a new benchmark for domestically produced solvent purification equipment.

With unwavering commitment and steady progress, Yifeng Technology’s establishment marks not merely the birth of a company, but a significant prelude to the development of China’s domestic solvent purification industry. With a pure heart, it responds to the needs of scientific research; with meticulous craftsmanship, it safeguards laboratory safety; and with a national ambition, it breaks the overseas monopoly.
