The research and development of metal-organic framework (MOF) materials represents a key area of focus within the field of porous materials, and the purity of the solvent directly determines the pore structure and performance of MOF materials. In the development of MOF materials, researchers have long been confronted with challenges posed by solvent impurities: Residual monomers and metal ions in conventional solvents can affect the crystallinity and pore structure of MOF materials, leading to a decline in the material’s guest molecule adsorption performance. The development of many novel MOF materials has been hindered by solvent-related issues, becoming a critical bottleneck that constrains research breakthroughs. Beijing Yifeng Technology Co., Ltd.’s solvent purification system has broken this impasse in the institute’s MOF material research through its deep purification technology. The system has optimised the removal processes for residual monomers and metal ions in solvents commonly used for MOF synthesis, such as DMF and toluene.
